Robbie Phillips Elite Climber Sponsored by Steedman Tackles Eiger
Steedman and Company has been proud to sponsor elite professional climber Robbie Phillips for some time now. Recently he took things to the next level by tackling the Paciencia on the Eiger North Face while sponsored by Steedman and Company.
With his accomplice Willis Morris, Robbie became one of the youngest climbers ever to conquer the extremely challenging route on the north face in August 2015. Overcoming ice and rock falls and earlier failed attempts due to weather conditions the pair risked their lives to make the accent.
As Robbie himself said ‘It’s cool to be doing a piece of history.’
